Mountainside South was completely renovated in 2015 - boasting bright and airy interiors. New windows were installed throughout in the fall of 2024, along with a heated driveway for added convenience during the winter. Nicely decorated with tasteful mountain flair, this spacious 3-level home features an open living area on the main level with exceptional natural light, stunning stacked stone fireplace, huge flat-screen TV, and plush sofa and oversized armchairs. The adjacent kitchen and dining area are perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together after adventure filled days! This home can accommodate up to 13 people, or 26 if the entire Mountainside Lodge (North and South) are booked together.

This rental is great. Awesome location, very clean, spacious. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and we prepared several meals there. We loved walking around the neighborhood. Kids loved the hot tub. Beautiful view was a bonus!

Overall, very positive. We had some minor maintenance concerns, which were addressed in a timely fashion. A little bit of a walk to the slopes. Lovely views from most of the rooms, with great sunrises.

We had a delightful stay at Mountainside South! We checked in very late at night, and the after hours process was seamless. The home fit our needs well...we had our dogs with us, plus extended family, and the property felt plenty large enough. Our only issue, and it was minor, was that the home doesn't have air conditioning (most don't in Steamboat), but several of the windows were broken and couldn't be opened, so it was very difficult to get the place cooled down, even at night. All in all, it was a great stay!
