This lovely mountain home is located on Ski Trail Lane, just 100 yards from the ski slopes. It is a very spacious home offering multiple living spaces and expansive views! Boasting 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, Ski Trail Lodge 2 can accommodate a group of up to 12 people. The upstairs kitchen, dining, and living room is T-shaped and very open, with gorgeous slate tile running through the main floor living spaces. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for larger groups and offers seating for 10+ at a banquet style dining table. The living room has cozy seating and wood burning fireplace, and access to the deck.
The primary bedroom is located on the main floor as well, with vaulted ceilings, terrific views, king bed, and en-suite bathroom. The lower level has the other 3 bedrooms and an additional living space. The lower-level living space has a queen sleeper sofa and queen murphy bed for extra bedding.
Winter shuttle service is available during the ski season. If guests opt to bring a car, 4WD is recommended in the winter due to the steep driveway.

This vacation rental has it all! Views galore, big yard, two decks, a large hot tub, and lots of parking. The kitchen was well stocked with everything a large group needs. The beds were very comfortable - including the Murphy bed and pullout couch. All around an amazing place to stay! We'll be back!

Rental was great. Recommendation for Pioneer is to provide a shuttle to the airport. Taxi companies were fully booked and we had to rely on private individual for airport transfer.

The rental had plenty of room for our group of 9 to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked (but we did bring some items from home to make sure we had what we needed to make a full Thanksgiving dinner including a roasting pan, large serving platter/cutting board) and had plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee/tea mugs, utensils and pots and pans. Linens were soft and towels were absorbent and fluffy. Several beds had thick foam-type mattresses which were a bit soft for some members, but that is a personal preference issue. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Most furnishings were in in good working order, but some were showing age and wear and tear. Parking was plentiful and the large grassy yard was perfect for our dog. The large deck had one table and 6 chairs, so not everyone could sit outside and enjoy the sunny fall days together, but the views were spectacular! We enjoyed sitting in the private hot tub. Fireplace was very effective in putting out heat and the garage had a good supply of dry split wood.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was the only house in the area with a grass lawn, which our dog and kids really loved. The view is fantastic! Location was convenient and layout was perfect for an extended family. Property manager was very helpful to allow an early check in. Highly recommend!

My whole family stayed! The 9 of us had an excellent time. Gorgeous property and the best location. Some windows were unable to open and the lack of AC made it very hot during afternoons but that’s just part of mountain life. I would love to rent again

This was a great place to stay with my family and dogs! There is a great yard for the kids and dogs to run and play. The house is huge and we all had plenty of room. There is a beautiful view from the deck. We spent a lot of time out there! Kitchen was well stocked. The windows are in a bit of disrepair but mainly we had them open so it was okay. We would stay here again!

This home was perfect for two young families to stay at. We could easily come and go from the slopes, and when we were done snowboarding for the day we could be in the hot tub within 10 minutes. Every bedroom has it's own bath and that was very comfortable for all members of the family. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We loved the property and ski-out onto the slopes is a definite plus. Hot tub and sauna are in good working order and were well used! The only niggle is that check-in at 4pm is later than any rental I've had and inflexible check-out at 10am is also pretty extreme. Otherwise, loved everything and we'll be back

Awesome house with amazing views and great location. Management company was awesome. Two things to know/consider. Steep driveway means some shuttles can’t make it up during snow which means walking through feet of snow. Bring boots.

Cabin was a great size for ~12 adults, it's bigger in person than the pictures portray. Views were amazing. There is a complimentary shuttle service by Pioneer Ridge which was wonderful for getting people to the bottom of the mountain for rentals or for going out into town. The best part was it's proximity to the mountain. Only about a 30 second walk. Close enough to come back for lunch everyday to save some money on the mountain. All in all I would seriously consider this property again if I am ever in Steamboat Springs.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ski Trail Lodge II for our annual book club retreat. The layout was perfect, spacious and light. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck after a day of hiking. We would definitely return!

We came up for a race with 5 adults and 3 kids. Everything was super clean, easy to use, lots of extras (blankets, towels, pillows, etc.). Hot tub was so fun, clean and well maintained. AMAZING VIEWS!!! One thing to note is that it is 100 yards from the Christie Peak midway dropoff, not the base. Summer access to the bass area is about a 1/2 mile hike down the ski slope - then back up. A little steep and straight of a hike for our littles and elderly parents. For skiing would be NO problem!

Overall, we were very pleased with this home and would stay here again. Our group, a collection of 30-something college buddies, stayed for 3 nights. We were pleased with the spacious layout and plenty of privacy for a larger group. The hot-tub and sauna were nice. We were surprised how easy the ski-access is. While you can't ski right up to the house, the walk to/from the slopes is easy in ski-boots and +/- 30 seconds.
